How do i log into my Router to change settings?

I have a linksys WRT54G v2.2 and i havent set a password or anything im trying to log into using ADMIN but i really dont understand. So could someone please help me out it would be appreciated.How do i log into my Router to change settings?
Type in 192.168.1.1 in your internet explorer, firefox, opera, or safari address bar and press enter. Try using the username Admin with no password. It should work if you haven't set one, if not call linksys or do a google search of your router to see what the default password is. Open internet explorer or your web browsing application.



In the address bar type:



http://192.168.1.1 (and press enter)



when the username and password box pops up, leave the username field blank and in the password field, type admin (all lower case)

(and press enter)

You should now see a menu appear with the configuration details of your router.
on any browser, just go to 192.168.1.1

Typing the login and pass, usually the default login is admin and pass is admin also.

And you can change your settings through there.

Pretty easy!
have you tried admin on the user name and password? No caps or anything. It works on mine. Also type this in in you address bar 192.168.1.1 and see if that works.
