How to change settings in MS Word?

When ever I paste text into a MS Word document on my computer, it always appears as subscripts instead of as normal text. I always have to go to the Format %26gt; Font%26gt; unclick subscript for the pasted text to go to normal height text. How can I change the seetings so that this doesn't happen anymore? How to change settings in MS Word?
You could always paste it into Notepad before pasting it into Word. This will strip any formatting from the text. Then, when you go to paste it into Word it will resolve itself to the default font parameters that you have specified, including the height.

This trick is frequently used among the computer user elite for a variety of things. How to change settings in MS Word?

when pasting do not use the ctrl v, but instead chosoe edit, paste special and use unformatted text
After you paste it should show a little icon next to the end of the text. Click it and choose ';Keep Text Only';. And if you're using Word 2007, underneath those options will be an option for ';Select Default Paste';. You can change the default behavior to be ';Keep Text Only'; and even change what font things are pasted in by default. This should solve the problem.

When you go to paste the text, do this instead:

In Word versions prior to Word 2007 (Vista):

1. Click the Edit-%26gt;Paste Special menu item.

2. Select Unformatted Text in the As list box.

3. Click OK.

In Word 2007:

1. Press ALT/CTRL/V.

2. Proceed as in Step 2 above.

Hope that helps.
