If i comment or like on someones photo on facebook, it would appear on my friend's homepage. How do i stop this so nobody knows where i commented?

The settings located in the top right hand cornor have the privacy settings which can be changed.
change your privacy setting so that its only you that sees what is happening
but if you comment on someones pictures other people might see it
