I have windows xp and I have a profile set up for my kids. How do I change the settings on it. I want to controll the content of what they can see and do. They are under 13 and I do not want them to be able to look up things that are not age appropriateHow do I change settings on a user profile?
You can't really administer policies on profiles unless you have a Professional version of XP. It would be easier to use the Content Advisor in Internet Explorer: Tools -%26gt; Internet Options -%26gt; Content tab -%26gt; Enable button. You can create a list of good and bad sites.
Or you can always use a program like Net Nanny.
