Want to change settings so my computer stays on all night?

Its Vista and I dont want it going to sleep as im downloading where and how do I change these settings?? thanx!!Want to change settings so my computer stays on all night?
Since downloading causes disk activity, your computer shouldn't go to sleep while it's happening. Has that actually happened to you?



If it has, you can turn off auto-Standby this way:



1. Right-click the desktop and select Personalize.

2. Click Screen Saver.

3. Click the Change Power Settings link.

4. Click the Change When the Computer Sleeps link.

5. Set the Put the Computer To Sleep list box to Never.

6. Click Save Changes.

it's easy just enter the control panel -- then power options...in this window you may change anything ..ur welcome
Further to earlier answers make such the screen saver is set to none as that can cause problems when downloading a file.
