How do you change settings to default?

I need to know how you can change these settings back. I need serious answers please.. I can't stand his complaints to me anymore. His type of computer is a Linux UbuntuHow do you change settings to default?
Remove the ~/.kde (or is it .kde2 or .kde3?) and ~/.qt from your friends computer home directory. This should remove all the customizations the jerk made to the kde environment.
