I got a new Tv, Energy Star, Dynex. 32in'. While watching my cable, it doesn't completely show screen widescreen, it shows some black bars around the picture. All my settings for direct tv still say I have like a sony, emerson tv, etc. How do I change all this, and Make it widescreen.
Also, I tried changing the ratio to 16:9, but it remained unchanged. How do I fix this?How do you change Direct Tv tv to widescreen? How do you change settings for new tv?
You need to use the picture mode on your TV to zoom letter box to fill the TV width.
